Tickets now available for panel debate on mental health

Research into the public relations profession has discovered that over a fifth of PRs have been diagnosed with a mental health condition, while 75% said that agency or consultancy comms was the most stressful sector.

According to the CIPR’s State of PR research, which looked at the mental health implications of working within the communications sector, 21% had been diagnosed with a mental health condition.

Join us on Wednesday 25 September for a panel discussion on mental health amongst international PR practitioners. Chaired by Rob Smith, editor of Influence Magazine, the panel line-up is:

  • Emma Mamo, Head of wellbeing in the work place at MIND charity

  • Lucy Yurek, Head of Communications, Retail Banking and Wealth Management and Executive Communications, HSBC

  • Jaqueline Hurst, wellbeing coach and columnist

  • James Endersby, CEO of polling agency Opinium (who will be discussing their recent research)

The panel debate will be preceded by our AGM where the committee for 2020 will be elected. The event will be followed by networking drinks and nibbles.

For CIPR members, attendance will bring 5 CPD points.

The event will start at 6.30 at Lansons Offices, 24a St John Street.

The event is FREE to attend and spaces are limited, so book your ticket here.
